As a frequent traveler seeking a reliable hub for my corporate retreat, I found Holiday Inn Express to be a mix of highs and lows. Our team was able to set up for the big game in the meeting room, utilizing the projector and screen for presentations seamlessly. Despite a rocky start with a clogged toilet upon arrival—swiftly fixed by a helpful manager—the overall cleanliness left much to be desired. On a positive note, the accommodating Hispanic receptionist and friendly staff compensated for some of the initial disappointments. the 24-hour business center and express check-in eased our operations, though the complimentary newspapers in the lobby added a touch of convenience. While amenities like the gym and swimming pool were a nice touch for relaxation after meetings, the spotty internet connectivity hindered productivity. Holiday Inn Express offers potential for business travelers seeking a decent stay but falls short of being a seamless remote working haven.
